How Do We Create More Realistic SolidWorks Renders?

We use SolidWorks constantly - it's one of our main applications. However, like many of our customers, we know how frustrating it can be to get a really good render from PhotoWorks or PhotoView 360. To produce images good enough to replace photography and use in marketing, we render images in specialist rendering applications that provide truly photorealistic results.

SolidWorks Models Stay Within Solidworks

Unlike other visualisation studios, we work within solidworks rather than exporting models into other software - this means your data is left in its original form rather than converting it into polygons, which is time consuming and can cause loss of quality.

Realistic Materials and Lighting

Our materials library is far more comprehensive than PhotoWorks and the range includes authentic metals and plastics. Even difficult materials such as translucent plastics and clear acrylics produce stunning results. We have spent a great deal of time perfecting our studio environments, producing perfect shots with clean, crisp detail and soft, natural shadows.

We have a databse of several thousand materials and each can be adjusted to exactly match your specification

Working with Visario

All you need to do is upload your solidWorks model or assembly to our secure FTP site. There's no need to simplify your model - we find that the more detail there is, the more relistic the render will look. We will also need your material specifications and the type of angles required. If your model is in development stage, we are quite happy to sign a non disclosure agreement.

Renders Good Enough for Advertising

Our product renders are used by marketing and design agencies for use in advertising, web sites and packaging. Producing photoreal images in this way eliminates the need for costly appearance models and studio photography. Visit our product visualisation gallery for more images
